The colours in this photo makes me think of watercolour...
Happy Cactus Monday everyone. Another pink bloom; this time from my ice plant.

I have a few ongoing but not very exciting activities on my balcony includingHappy Cactus Monday.
I am sharing a few photos I took at a restaurant. Hope you enjoy these.

And a few more, these are taken on my balcony (below).

My kalanchoe blossfeldiana bloom
I am guessing that this is ice plant. It forms a gorgeous red groundcover along the beach
Cotyledon orbiculata red blooms from the neighbourhood. I love them – fantastic blooms and grey leaves.
A couple of pieces completed at the end of last year…

What have they in common? Nothing really… except that they are both going to be in this post.
Happy Cactus Monday.
Luckily I had my camera with me when I saw this vertical garden today. I love the painted texture a lot, and with some care and the right plants, this vertical garden could be a stunning feature.
The second photo below is a close-up.
I saw a girl with a skirt like the one below a few days ago. I thought such a skirt would make a nice canvas for my succulents. So here it is; her skirt is made up of 2 photos (ice plant and crassula) below.
And finally, I will leave you with a couple of photos of lovely Agaves basking in the sun, in front of an office block in Melbourne.
Happy a wonderful week.

Hope you had a nice weekend and Happy Cactus Monday.
I fell in love with this plant since I saw the flowers up close (see my recent blog on ice plants seen along the coast). So, here is my little ice plant (Pig face to Australians; yes, I know that it’s a weird name) – my most recent succulent addition to the garden.
And here is my doodle based on my sedum gold mound completed in Sharpie and acrylics paint.
Have a fantastic week.

We had lovely weather during the weekend, and I went for a walk with my camera. I found some lovely Ice plant (Delosperma) growing happily along the beach.

In this photo, the plants are growing up a wall!
I love the flower – it is so perfect!
I have had so much fun with these abstract pieces, based on…
