Hope you are having a nice weekend.
I took these photos of purple and yellow flowers on walks around Melbourne. I hope you enjoy them. My favourite one is of the spiky plant (first photo), with the purple flower.
Have a great week ahead.

Fantastic photos!
I wonder what that spiky thing is??? I want one!!! Never seen anything like it!!!
The second pic is stunning with that black ring around the center of each yellow flower...spectacular!!!
I am alwsya jealous of anyone who has ice plants growing where they live! I would fill my yard with them if I could!!! They are so unusual!
Beautiful photos!!!
All are stunning images, the second is my favorite. I like the dark rings with white spots around the centers and the way you composed it.
Thanks for the bright and beautiful greeting to my Saturday.
Very pretty blooms! I really like the second one...unusual, too! Enjoying your posts.
That first one reminds me of an artichoke bloom. Is it an artichoke? or some sort of relative?
Thanks for visiting.
@ Julie, NotSoAngrt RedHead: Not sure what the spiky thing is! I looked up artichoke bloom, sure looked like it. But I'm not sure coz it was growing by the beach. Maybe from the same family?

That purple flower is beautiful and very unusable.
