Around my balcony in recent times…

I have had these succulents as space fillers in bigger pots. But because they are small, I seldom see them. A few days ago, I decided that they need their own space, so I re-potted them. Now that they are not overshadowed by bigger plants, I enjoy seeing them every time I go onto the balcony.

I was sad when I had to deadhead my Kalanchoe blossfeldiana plants a few months ago. But now all of them are starting to bloom again. This Kalanchoe plant (above) has the most little red flowers.

I got a wine box from the local bottle shop, and it has been a successful herb planter (above). I love having herbs in the garden, mainly because they smell so good.

The succulents look great on their own. You were clever to repot them.

Wow! So so gorgeous!

They look beautiful in their pots. I especially like the grayish green ones in the 2nd picture. I need to find some of them but don't know what they are. I too would have hated to deadhead all of the pretty pink Kalanchoe blossfeldiana blooms. Happy early FF.

@RainGardenier: Thanks :). The name for the succulents in the 2nd pot is Graptoveria. The more reddish ones are "Fred Ives" and the 2 at each end are hybrids. Hope that helps.

Evelyn, All of these pictures are delightful. Your little succulents look nice in pots of their own and I like the wine box herb garden.

Thanks Evelyn, I'm going to see if I can find some or if they are even hardy here.
Been looking around - that Koala Bear is soooooo cute. I wish that's what I'd see when camping. Our bears are more likely to take a big bite out of us!

Thanks everyone for visiting.

@Darla: Graptoveria in 2nd ocntainer.

Yes, mint in the herb container. It's actually got in own little pot in the container, still it grows so well.

Great idea for the wine crate to be used as a planter! I wonder if I can find one around here...
