I’d like to share a couple of photos of orchids. These were taken in Thailand when my husband and I were on vacation in 2007.
When we arrived at our hotel, this little elephant (made of towels) was there to greet us. It had a sweet little orchid on its head. There were plenty of towels provided, so we never took the cute elephant apart throughout our stay!
I love orchids, and my mom always has them in the garden in Malaysia, even when I was a child. When I moved to Australia, one of my first plants included an orchid. It reminded me of Malaysia :)
At the moment, I haven’t any orchid in my collection. Maybe one day… I found this article on growing orchids, which will come in handy when I venture into orchids. I hope you find it interesting too:

I will leave with a digital illustration of my “Orchid Girl” completed some time ago. Have a happy weekend.
