Great cacti in California. You asked me "Found a fish?" Yes we found it washed up dead. Good to study but not to eat.

Wow! The last picture really blows me down! Incredible and it's a happy trio!

Your first and third pic are of Euphorbia ammak. I have never seen one as big as that one. Quite impressive.

> Thanks VaishVijay.

> Diane b: I agree, lots of great cacti here. There are many we just don't see in Australia.

> Yoon See, thanks. I like those 3 too :)

> Candy: Did't think they are the same variety, coz the 3 in the last photo are small. Anyway, I have seen a few big ones. Will go thru my photos to see if they are worthwhile uploading. Thanks Candy, happy weekend.

Cactus is a lovley plant! And you really show up some of them here! :) Especially I like much the last one- a wonderful cactus! :)

Many beautiful flowers below as well, much good to watch here since last time I visited your blog! :)

About my hike in the mountains: No it was not cold. At least not in the day.. At night it got colder, but there is a stove an it kept us warm, besides the sleeping bag.. :)
