I love the light and dark shades and shapes of the leaves

@Carole: Those are poppies! Wow, I didn't know. Yes, there were in the California plants' section.

That plant, 4th picture, is amazing! San Francisco is such a cool place even without a botanical garden.

All the shots are so interesting with its composition, they are telling stories without needing explaination!
