Cactus with a crown

Happy Cactus Monday.

I apologize for my long absence – I’ve been looking out for cactus and succulents while travelling, but I have not come across any interesting ones. I had to dig into my archive this week.

This is a photo taken a few months ago at the Melbourne Botanical Gardens. I love the top – it looks like a crown… To see the whole plant, click here and scroll down to the 2nd last photo.

Nice picture of weird looking cactus! The thorns sort of look metallic. :)

Cool Euphorbia. Looks like different growth rings. But you are right, it does look like a crown! HCM!
