A few photos from Hong Kong

Rooftop garden in Hong Kong © Evelyn Howard 2010

I seldom came across quiet spaces in Hong Kong, but this roof-top garden is one of those places. I had the place to myself for a while. I love the colours and the space, and the contrast between the sculptural elements and the plants (also love the agave!).

I am intrigued by these 2 trees, which seem happy in a rather odd place.

And this plant seems to be growing from the side of a building, a few floors above the ground.

And finally, to conclude my Hong Kong photos for now, I’d like to share this photo of a simple yet very pretty floral arrangement.

Those trees growing out of the wall and the stairs are very intriguing, almost like sculpture. Looks like you are having a great trip Evelyn.

That tree growing out of the side of that house is amazing. I wonder what it looks like inside the house? Also rooftop succulent gardens are all the rage right now. They can really keep your house cooler in the summer.

The colored tiled art in the first picture is a great backdrop for the plants... and I love the trees growing out of/off buildings!
