Cactus World, Cameron Highlands (Malaysia)

I could have bought loads of plants here at Cactus World, but I will have trouble taking them home from Malaysia to Australia. There were a number of interesting ones which I love, as well as some pretty weird looking ones…

Here are some photos:

Thanks for visiting. I am having difficulty with web connection/access while travelling.  I may not be able to link to memes or visit your blogs as often as before, but I will try.

Wow, Evelyn, you're right about them being weird looking, but I do love that hairy one in particular. By the looks of it, you're having a great time in Malaysia. It's a great country, nice people, I loved my trip there many years ago.

Those are great Evelyn. I saw some some fabulous cacti on my recent trip to California. unfortunately I wouldn't have been allowed to bring any of them back into Canada. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Who was growing cactus in the Cameron Highlands? My (20 years ago) memory of the Cameron Highlands is of strawberries and tea plantations. Were they for export or for sale in KL? I love the Chinese pots they are in.
